Who We Are
The Christian Academy is a ministry of Christian Life Center in Heath, OH. TCA is committed to assisting CLC in the fulfillment of its vision for strong Christian families by investing in the next Apostolic generation. We are dedicated to developing the whole student—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically—by teaching a Christ-centered curriculum in a structured relational environment.
The Christian Academy embraces the privilege of preparing students to engage in a life-long journey of increasing their capacity and fulfilling their potential. It is the goal of TCA to help students discover their God-given purpose and to prepare them for personal, academic, and spiritual success. A message from Principal Harker
Greetings!
It is my distinct honor to serve as your principal this year. As we embark on this exciting journey together, I bring with me eight years of diverse experience in education, spanning roles at both the middle and high school levels. I have had the privilege of working as an educational interpreter, instructional coach, mentor for new teachers, and classroom teacher in Ohio and Virginia.
Growing up in a family dedicated to both ministry and education, I learned early on the transformative power of learning. This foundation has shaped my belief in creating an environment where every student can thrive and achieve their highest potential.
My educational background includes an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development, an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Interpreter Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
In addition to my professional career, I am deeply involved in ministry. I have served as a Sunday School Teacher, Drama Ministry Director, and currently as the Deaf Ministry Director. I also hold monthly Bible studies at Columbus Colony Housing and am pursuing my local minister’s license with the UPCI.
I am excited to work with each of you to make this a successful and enriching year for our students!
